Opteka Professional .45x Wide Angle Lens (with Macro) for Panasonic Lumix LZ8 review

This wide angle and macro lens is suitable for Panasonic Lumix FX500, FX150, FX55, FX50, FX37, FX35, FX33, FX30, FX20, LZ10, LZ8, LZ5, LZ3, LX3, LS80, LZ55, and LS2.
It comes with a metal ring. User need to stick it to the front of camera lens. With the wide angle lens' magnetic body, the lens will then stay on (sticking to) front of camera lens. A very simple setup step. The lens consist of 2, one is macro, another one added on become wide angle lens.

I am using it with my Panasonic lumix lz8. Considering the price is only a fraction of a real macro lens, it is a cheaper and good alternative for those with budget constraint. For wide angle shots, some barrel distortion can be observed. User are advised to zoom all in when using macro lens, and all out when using wide angle lens.

The lens let you zoom in nearer to the object, making you able to capture the details of object. The picture produced is sharp and crisp. It is a good lens for beginner with compact camera who want to try some advanced macro shot.
